Sweet Kate posted these Overnight Oats on her blog a couple of days ago and the oats were just as good as she said they were!! This is the perfect quick breakfast that is also healthy and so good! :-)
Overnight Oats:
½ cup dry rolled oats
½ cup milk
1 tablespoon honey (I used Agave Nectar)
dash of cinnamon
1/8 teaspoon vanilla
-Stir together all ingredients in a bowl (do not microwave), cover with saran wrap, and let sit in fridge overnight. The next morning, I added some pecans and raisins! :-)
I have always wondered about overnight oats! Another blogger always talks about them. Do you warm it up in the morning or eat it cold?
ReplyDeletewhat a wonderful and healthy breakfast i'll have to let my husband know about this especially when he starts having his 4:30am wake-up for early morning practice! this will give him plenty of sustenance until lunch time
