10 One Thousand Gifts Week 7 and French Toast

I am overwhelmed with thankfulness this morning. We celebrated Nate's birthday this weekend . . . I am so thankful that God orchestrated when we met, how we met, and our dating, engagement, and {almost}first year of marriage so wonderfully. HE is so faithful. . . I am married to a man MORE AMAZING than the one I prayed for and imagined. . . throughout the day yesterday,  I was struck numerous times with an overwhelming emotion of peace . . . God is so good. . . he gave me Nate.
Nate wanted french toast for breakfast on his birthday. . . so of course, I complied!

French Toast
Serves: 4
4 eggs
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup milk
1/2 tsp vanilla
8 slices bread
sugar
cinnamon
powdered sugar
Beat eggs slightly; add salt and milk; flavor with vanilla; dip into bread into this mixture; Brown the bread, each side, on a hot well-buttered griddle. Serve hot sprinkled with cinnamon-sugar or powdered sugar.
