Some things come easy to me. . . being a housewife is easy. . . I love everything about it . . . I cherish cooking and having dinner ready when he comes home. . .I love having the candles lit and the house smelling divine. . . Other things are harder. . . things I have to work on. . .

How about showing your man you love him tomorrow with a "surprise" breakfast! Throw a couple eggs in a pan and make this INCREDIBLE bacon. . .He'll wake up to smells of breakfast and the sound of the bacon frying . . . add coffee to the aroma and your husband might just propose all over again! :-)
How do you show your husband or significant other that you love him?
Maple Glazed Bacon
1 lb. thick-cut bacon slices 1/4 cup maple syrup, warmed
Place the bacon slices on a large, oven-safe grill pan or baking sheet and bake for 15 minutes. Remove the pan from the oven. Brush the bacon slices with maple syrup and pour off the excess fat from the pan. Return the pan to the oven and continue baking until the bacon is crispy, about 5 minutes more.
Transfer the bacon to a paper towel-lined baking sheet and let drain for about 5 minutes. Serve immediately. Serves 6 to 8.
